【Seem】の意味、使い方について詳しく説明! 英文法基礎
Seem とは、「特定の形で現れる」という意味です。リンク動詞として使用できます( be など) または to 不定詞で。通常は連続形で seem を使用しません。
She seems very young to be a teacher.
ない: She is seeming …のようです
I seem to be the only person who hasn’t heard the news. (+ to 不定詞)
連結動詞と Seem れる
接続 Seem の後に形容詞、またはあまり一般的ではありませんが名詞が続くように見えます。
It seems strange that no one noticed that the window was broken. (+形容詞)
Glenda seems happier these days.
Buying a new car seems a complete waste of money to me. A used one would be just as good. (+名詞)
that 句、または as if または as though if と句を使用して、 it seems または it seemed に思われる非個人的な構成を使用できます。
It seems that the village shop will have to close down. They can’t find a buyer for it.

seem の後に節が続く場合、 to を使用して前置詞句を使用して、その状況を経験した人を指すことができます。
